"Bob's race VR" is a pure family multi-player & multi-platform game where synchronization & coordination in the same team makes a WIN!
Initially created on VR Hackathon Brussels a month ago, this 100% home-made game (sounds asset included!) won the web VR Hackathon price. Team members just met on the Friday evening (without any preparation) and delivered by Sunday noon.
The concept is fairly simple: 2 players are on a bobsleigh, sliding down a track. In order to get the best descent time, they need to lean on the same time inside track curves. A real mix between traditional roller coasters & race game – with a clear social ingredient. So far, critics have been very enthusiastic!

Technically, this has been a real challenge though since everything is home-made; assets included. This is one of the rare VR projects where no engines got utilized. Based on three.js and node.js, the game is so light, it can be loaded on any kind of platform supporting webGL.
